Ive had the same problem since the last few months. im 16 and my left one is like 2 cup sizes bigger than my right and it shows when i wear t shirts. like, all my clothes get pulled towards the left and now i have to wear loose clothes to hide it. its really frustrating coz it looks very bad and ive already got a ton of medical problems and i dont wanna burden my mom by telling her about another defect in me :(And i dont want to use padding coz i already have a large bust and i infact wear sports bras and minimizers to make it look small. using padding will be worthless when i wanna minimize my bust.

I'm so happy that we are all the same, and we all want a better way to fix it other then surgery. I'm 15 years old and my right is about a C and the left is almost ready for a D. I've had he problem for about a year and haven't notice much since till today my 'friends' noticed and I think they were making fun of me. So thanks for all the info.

I am 21 and My difference is noticeable. a DD compared to maybe a C. And its my left breast too... I wonder why only the left?

I am so glad there are others, I often get told that my breasts are odd sizes and I know they are and it gets me down because people notice. It seems the majority have right breats bigger than the left... This seems odd, right? I wonder if anyone could do an experiment to see what is wrong or what causes it, because quite frankly I am sick to death of people turning around and saying 'oh look one of your breasts is bigger than the other' But i understand exactly how you all feel. I am 17 and I want answers.

Hi, I know this waS posted like a year ago, but I am so glad to see what you posted on your experience. I'm 18, and ever since my breasts started growing around when I was 12 years old, my left breast has stayed completely flat. Now, my right breast is nearly a size D. Honestly, it makes me feel really low, self-concious and shy, and also genuingly upset because I felt like I was the only girl on the planet, cause doctors, like you said have no idea as to why that happens. I guess is something that makes us stronger because we have to accept who we are and how we are, no matter what the problem is. Hearing that post has made me stronger, so thank you

I'm so glad I found this post!I'm 18 years old, and about a year ago I discovered that my left breast was a bit larger than my right, but over the course of a year it has grown considerably larger than my right. I also noticed that when I'm about to get my period/when I have it, my left breast hurts a lot more than my right.I've been very concerned about this for the last couple of months, but didn't want to search google because I was scared that I may be the only one with this problem.I am so thankful to find out that this is kind of common! (I'm not thankful that you guys also have the problem, but that you guys can relate to me).

I hope there can be some kind of solution to women like us!

I'm 14 and I looked it up on my phone because I was too embarresd to say anything to anyone. I know I'm going through puberty and all that c**p but my right breast is a bit bigger than my left and it's really bizarre. But maybe it's because I'm very unhealthy and lazy. I don't know it's just quite odd.

It's absolutely normal for one breast to be a different size than the other, but if you really have a concern, you can always talk to your doctor about it at a check-up appointment. A lot of your puberty questions might be answered in this video:

I had the same problem. It made me very upset and made me feel like I wasn't a women. I was like you shy and afraid. When i was 17 I talked to my aunt/mom and she took me to get a breast exam and they referred me to a plastic surgeon who fought with my uncle/dads insurance ( he had gov insurance) and showed them that it was a reconstruction/ birth defect issue and insurance covered the whole thing. I had an implant put into my right breast and the left one left alone. I'm 19 now and getting married in October. I have to say it was the best choice I could have ever made. One thing to keep in mind is that even with an implant they may not still be the exact same size but it will be extremely close that you can barely notice the difference.
I hope this helps. :)

I am nearly 83 and my left breast has been growing just in the past year.  I also have a prolapsed uterus, but  this can't be a cause.  After four children, I am pretty much relegated to the scrap heap, but as long as nothing is bleeding, I am told it is OK to be lopsided....etc.

I am 48?yrs young and my left breast has always been somewhat larger, but within the last 6 months it has really grown. I'm sure the situation hasn't been helped since I've lost over 60 lbs. since 2007. Having a mammogram this morning. #scared
