I was ready all about reiki and I have to say that I am of the firm opinion that this can never work. There is currently no evidence this works at all, and there can never be any evidence because reiki is something that only quacks practice! And anyone who says anything else is either delusional or making money from it!

Well I have a friend who suffers from chronic back problem and she swears that the treatments feel great and have helped her a lot. I don't really care if reiki is evidence based or not, as long as my friend thinks it is good for her, it obviously is. Auto suggestion does a lot for people as well, you know!

Wow! That was the most closed minded and judgemental post I have seen in a long while! Congratulations! I am sure that there are many people who believe reiki does something for them and even if only quacks practice it, there is really no need to judge people in that way.
