My husband just had surgery for his OSA which included septoplasty, turbinate reduction, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP), tonsillectomy, and an adenoidectomy. He is in excrutiating pain and is finding no relief with darvocet or the tetracaine suckers. I am trying an ice collar at the moment to see if that helps reduce the swelling in his throat. If anyone has had this surgery before I would like some advice as to what I could do to make him more comfortable. Please hurry and reply it's driving me crazy!
