I'm a young guy and I've had this pain/burning after urination for about a year and a half. The only way that I don't have the pain/burning is if I consume large amounts of water.
I usually drink 3-4 water bottles (16.9oz) before I can do anything. It used to be less but has gradually became worse. Drinking so much water causes me to get up hours before I actually have to leave for school or whatever I'm doing that day. Throughout the day I continue to drink water and after I ejaculate I have to repeat the 3-4 water bottles.
I have been to many GPs and 3 urologists. I'm set to visit a 4th urologist in a couple of weeks. I have done every test possible and everything has came back normal.
I know this is a very awkward problem but if you could provide any insight, it'd be greatly appreciated because I just want to have my life back.

i've had the same problem for 2 yrs and have been to 2 GPs and a uroligist if you find out what it is please post it so i can tell my doctor. this sucks i want my life back!

me too, std test are negative, my GP hasn't seen anything like it, and my urologist says I should see a psychiatrist because he thinks stress is making me tense up my PC muscle so much. Valium helps. I'm going to see the psych next month, I'll report what he thinks after.

I have had the same problem for 3 years. I had a test done to see what the deal was, and nothing. The doctor just told me to start drinking water and I should be fine. Resently my stomach started hurting...probably unrelated. But it not longer stings when I urinate, but it did hurt for about a month and then just suddenly stopped. I don't know why. I thought maybe I had a kidney infection but it probably wouldn't take 3 years to show other signs.
