Ive been having this sore pain on the right side of my neck. I feel a lump there but when I took it to the doctor they said it was my neck muscle that was swollen. Its been there for a while already and I get this throbbing pain every once in a while... Its freaking me out. Can somebody tell me what it could possibly be?

Could be alot of different things, You could have pulled a muscle and could feel like a knot. Try a heating pad for a day or two and see if it improves.

The lower right side of my neck jerks at times. Can you tell me what this possibly could be? It's not happening every day, but it scares me. I have to take pain meds like muscle relaxer and cream, but it doesn't help.
