Appeared a couple of months ago but has recently grown considerably in size (slightly larger than a pea). The area looks slightly red, particularly when touched. I have tried to squeeze it, without success. Any ideas as to the nature of it and possible solutions? My only explanation is that it may be an ingrown hair, as I have shaved that area often in the past. In case it might be useful, I am 18 years old and have not been sexually active recently.
