HI all. I’m 27 and so far with good health. Anyway, yesterday, in the subway, I had something like total black out… I had something I would describe as a panic attac followed by a temporary loss of memory… This really freaked me out!! I’ve never experienced anything similar before… I also don’t know what could be the reason for it… Can anybody tell me what this could mean?? What is wrong with me?? Will this happen again and should I see doctor (and which one)??? Please, respond asap!!!

What you described sure seems like a partial complex seizure which is a brief and temporary alteration in brain function. It is usually caused by abnormal electrical activity in one discrete area of the brain. It may occur at any age, as a single episode or as a repeated, chronic condition. As these seizures can happen with no warning at all and with no noticeable causes, I can’t tell you weather you’ll have it again. Anyway, if this happens again, you should write down details of the seizure so you can report them to the doc. Include the date and time of the seizure, how long it lasted, which body parts were affected, the type of movements or other symptoms, possible causes, and everything else you find important. With that info you should go to hour health care provider which should know what to do next. Hope this helps.
