I also have the same, I've had every test from the doctor, he's given me all types of cream and nothing has worked, my doctor said it could be stress, hes referred me to a urologist but he said hes not going to find anything wrong this has been on going for years, its driving me nut, the stinging is intermittent I have good days and bad days, I suspected that it was semen causing it because after ejulation I found clear semen was dribbling out an hour or two, a sticky clear substance, I started clean the inside of the head with tissue which helped.I'll let you know what the urologist says, if he cant find anything im gonna see a dermatologist.

This is Prostatitis. Stinging/ light burning sensation on the head of the penis is due to referred pain coming from the prostate. Prostatitis is inflammation of the Prostate gland.

It is difficult to treat and not life threatening. It doesn’t indicate prostate cancer.

There is a bacterial form and non-bacterial form. Treatment is usually an extended course of antibiotics ( 4-6 weeks). The non-bacterial form can be treated with anti inflammatory medication.

Either way, it will usually subside on its own ( eventually). An episode / ‘flare-up’can last months; unfortunately.

I have also experienced the same problem since I was young. The burning in the tip of the urethra after peeing is infrequent for me now, but still occurs at 21. How long it lasts varies for me, but it’s sure to put me out of commission. When I was in High School I had all the symptoms of and was diagnosed with Genital Herpes and recieved medication which saw the infection clear, but I am ABSOLUTELY POSITVE my ex at the time did NOT have herpes - I never recieved a formal Herpes Test. My mother and grandmother both experienced kidney stones in their lives so I always worried I had small K.S.s that passed through quickly but sharply.. is this a new STD?

Sounds to me that you have a UTI ( urinary tract infdoctor). Go to a doctor as soon as you can. You need to take a full course of antibiotics and drinks tons of water/ cranberry juice (helps flush out kidneys) if you don't go to the doctor it could get bad. The bacteria in your bladder can spread to your kidneys causing a kidney infection. Which is not fun at all and is life threatening.

Yes same here as a little boy. I went specialist. Once in blue moon only happens.... they could not answer. Maybe a certain food? Full moon or something bizarre??

Also I had sex two years ago. A mild steady burning sensation for almost 2 weeks. Got all tests... were all good. Then again this year happened again for 10 days after sex.... Same test results. My uneducated guess is perhaps our body’s are more sensitive to certain things? and also could be psychological?

i keep having this weird burning sensation on my penis...i went for hiv and std test all was negative...except the doctor said i had uti...i have finished my medicines and antibiotics and all...it is not as worse like before...but i still have the burning sensation...please any advice???

I am having the similar issue. It all started a couple of days after I had sex with my gf. The weird part is I got this similar symptoms about 2 years back when I slept with this girl. It was constant pain about an inch inside my urethra (metus). The burning was not during urination. I was so scared to go to the doc and when I finally did it took me 5 weeks. The doc told me it was probably an infection and prescribed me 4 pills of zithro and 2 pills Ceftriaxone.3 days later Pam it was gone. Now I thought it's an infection again. Constant burning inside sometimes at the tip. No visible sores. Didnt feel sick. I went to the doc she gave me only 4 pills of zithro. 3 days later it was gone. Perfect right? 2 weeks later it came back. It got alot worse. I have been on alot of medication. I have been in pain now over 3 months. I have been to multiple doctors, sexual health center and all my test came back negative. Doctors have send everything looks fine. No visible change except I feel like I got some white discoloration blobs on the head of the penis. Doctor said nothing to worry about. At the 2 month mark my family doctor said it coild be herpes (hsv1) can give urithiritis, but this would only last max 8 weeks. My doctor said if it was a virus the antibiotics would not help and it should not last this long. I was on cipro for a week and it actually helped alot. I had a few days with little pain. But it came back. Now I just finished 2 weeks of levaquin and I actually felt pretty good. Was able to sleep and woke up to no pain. I just finished my medication 2 days ago and I'm feeling some burning now. Its so annoying. But the pain is 1/10 But I just know it will come back. I have a appointment on May 30th for a camera in my penis thing which I'm not excited about. Doctor things it's something inside that is bother it. I do sometimes feel like I have to push my pee out. I'm just hoping they find a stricture or something. Oh and I have taken every medication to cover anything from yiest to trich. I honestly think it has something to do with my back. I have pinched my sciatic nerve a couple months back and I still feel it. Does anyone have an idea to what it is ?
