last week i started my period and it lasted around 5 days. we were going on vacation and going to be in the water non stop so having my period end right before we left was great! after the weekend away i started lightly bleeding and i was confused... the blood was bright red. it got heavier and heavier and its been about three days. the blood is super heavy and i can feel it come out. it comes out in clots... the blood doesnt stop flowing and i dont know what to do. i haven't told my mom because im scared to. what could this possibly be? im afraid of hospitals! please help!!! im 13 and just started my period... other helpful information is that during the 5 days i had my period is when i put in my first tampon... im not sure if thats helpful

Have you been sexually active? If it's bright red then it could be a miscarriage of an early pregnancy. You should really tell your mum though, even if it's scary she's really the only one who can help.
