Pimpl/sore in genital region. Boil? Herpes?

kind of a gross question i know but a month ago i got a bump on my labia majora. I noticed some soreness down there a couple days before but i didn't bother looking at it. Then when I finally decided to take a look i saw a bump filled with puss. I picked at it and puss and blood came out. After that I didn't worry about it because I get cysts and boils down there all the time (which i believed to be because ive been working in the hot sun and sweating lately and wearing tight underwear). They usually heal that same day or the day after.however now im worried because it looks like a sore...the edges are raised and the hole where the pus came out of is a tiny bit deep. and it still is reddish and hurts a bit. it also itches a little. i know this could just be a pubic boil but could it also be herpes?? i admit that i dont really know that much about herpes or what the sores look like. & i havent had sex but have had contact in that area with a couple of guys. I only noticed this today. Meaning that this has been here for over a month. im just super worried right now, any help is appreciated! thank you, and also thanks for reading that big paragraph. :p
