I would like to consult someone who had experience with Placental Polyps. This is a hard period of my life and I would appreciate any help. I just had an abortion, I miscarried, I was in my third month of pregnancy. I do not have to mention how devastating that was for my mental state, even though my husband is very supportive. Anyhow, I started having vaginal bleedings and doctors said that it is because of Placental Polyps. He is even mentioning surgery. What are my options?

Placental Polyps do appear after the abortion, and their classic symptom is vaginal bleeding. They are masse, irregular structures that look differently then endometrial polyps or myomas. Removal of the Polyps is done surgically, right after the hystopatologocal examination of the placental tissue. Biopsy is performed, which determines in what way will doctors execute the procedure.
