Hi,i'm a 19 year old girl,i've been with my boyfriend for on & off for 4 years.and this year,we decided to do more things in our relationship,he has never forced me into anything.but this year i decided i wanted to move things forward with him & i wanted to have sex with him..so 3 weeks ago he came to my house for the weekend and one thing led to another,and we ended up having sex without any protection,this was my first time but not his. I was nearly in tears when he enterd me for the first time. and it was amazing feeling! & then the next morning we had sex again,which didn't hurt but yet again without no protection..so me and my boyfriend later that day whent to get me the morning after pill..and that made me feel exremly ill for about 6 days afterwards..could i be pregnant? i was sick 3 times after about 5 hours after taking the pill.but ever since we have had sex,i've not felt the same & i've been feeling very sick in a morning & my tummy feels very hard,and i have back ache..my boyfriend says its nothing to worry about but i'm so worried could i be pregnant?
plus whats also is worrying me i'm waiting for a transplant..and if my mum ever found out i've even had sex without no protection and even possiby pregnant i think she would really not be happy with me & my boyfriend..what do i do?! please please help me!!

Hello there! Can I act a little bit as if I were your mother??? What were you thinking?????? It is one thing having unprotected sex, but hey….another one…let him cum into you! I blame him the most as I suspect he’s older and has more experience…..there was no need for him to cum into you!
Ok, what is done is done…..first, you didn’t tell us if the timing was around your period? Ovulation (the only time you can get pregnant) takes place around 15 days before your next period is about to arrive. Ovulation lasts only 24h but sperm may live up to 7 days inside the body. So, if you had sex around your ovulation, it is possibly you got pregnant.
However, you took the morning after pill. If you took it by instruction, it should have worked. Did you take both pills? The first one at latest 72 hours after the intercourse and second one 12 hours after the first one. Morning after pills work similar to bc pills, they either prevent ovulation or prevent fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus lining.
If you took the pills correctly, I don’t think you have gotten pregnant. What made you sick is the pill. It has estrogen in it ( a nasty female hormone), and it can make you nauseous, make your period come at once, make your period be late, and cause all sorts of other things.
The reason you were sick after id because you are too anxious because of all the pregnancy thing. I think you should be ok. When are you about to get your period?

Hi,i had sex a day after my period.i'm due this week..i'm going to take a pregnancy test tomorrow to make sure..i'm so worried about it...
And by the way my boyfriend didn't come to me about it..we both decided we wanted to have sex..but it just wasn't planned & went wrong...

It is unlikely that you would get pregnant the day after your period ends, try not to worry. Take the test to set your mind at ease

I'm so happy,i did 2 tests today & they both came out negative..if i carry on to be late with my period i'll do another one in a week or something...i'm so irregular anyway so it's dead hard to tell

Hi. Maybe talk to your doctor about a suitable birth control, they will be able to recommend something that won't cause troubles with your other medications, or else use condoms, so you don't have to worry when you have sex again. Good luck with everything

Thanks for letting us know. I was on the injection for a few years, I had no problems at all and the added bonus of not having to put up with periods :-)
