They firm up stool and help you not go as much. Taking that into consideration, eating a fibrous breakfast (all bran/bran flakes or something like that) is the best precaution. Does this also pertain to the situation where immediate defecation occurs typically only after the first meal of the day regardless of the time? I've also found that even drinking water would case the bowel movement if it was the first thing I've ingested since waking up, again regardless of how much time elapsed between waking and ingesting. However, when I went to Japan my symptoms almost immediately went away, though I've been experiencing this issue for more than 10 years. Any thoughts?
