I have the flu and it physically hurt my face and jaw and eyes to throw up it was coming up so hard,all the blood vessels around my eyes popped and the side of my face and my cheeks! I'm so upset :(

Hello, I am so sorry to hear that you are so sick. Popped capillaries is a common thing that can happen when a person vomits. It happens to me, especially popping a vessel in my eye and getting petechiae on my cheeks. It is caused by the pressure from retching so hard that the capillaries burst from the exertion. Be reassured that they will heal in a few days. You may want to apply cool compresses on your face and over your eyes to encourage the blood to drain from the areas that have burst. You will be doing fine soon so don't fret too much. Are there any other people out there who have had this happen to them?
