Had my vas 9 months ago and tenderness never really went away but was still able to have sex with my wife. Over the last month or two I have had three bouts with left side testicular pain, each one progressively worse. Two days ago I was barely able to stand when the wave of pain hit. Went to the urologist who performed the vas, he gave me 5 fekkin minutes in his office, squeezed the pea size nodule on the left, I reacted in pain, and he said he couldn't find anything unusual. Basically told me I was being oversensitive, buy tighter underwear and Extra Strength Tylenol.
I wanted to throw his a$$ out the window.

My husband and I also have five sons, after our last son was born on 9-6-2000 I almost died due to a reaction with the epidural, my hyenas decided he wouldn't put me through any more so he had a vasectomy and to this day he's had pain in his right testical going up to his groin since. We were told it was a simple procedure with no side effects too. So not true!

My buddy and I were going to get the vasectomy together until I researched it better and chickened out on him. It seems men with larger testicles and higher sperm counts tend to have more troubles after vasectomies and the Dr.s don't ever tell any men how some studies put the problems at up to one in every six men getting vasectomies having problems and less % having long term pains and major testicle damages. My buddy got cut anyway. I'm still shooting live ammo. No telling which men will have major problems and which won't. But it appears bigger, taller men with bigger balls and higher sperm counts are more likely to have more troubles than other men do. Dr.s say its all in your head or get used to the pain to the men who get all f--ked up from this surgery. No help there.

Its been 5 years after and sometimes the knot that the doctor tied I can feel and it hurts. It seems like if I hit or have them bounce around it is painful for about two days. During the s urgent the doc pulled them very hard and I could feel it in my gut. Had to give me more pain meds put it maid my feel curl up I think he pu liked way to hard then tied them off. I hope the knots are not harmful

Have you tried to use heat on your ballszz, like a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel or in a T shirt and laid right on your ballszz to relax them and try to decrease the pain?

Had a vasectomy in my 30s I am now 75 and had nothing but pain and discomfort my advice is DON'T do it. Like most people I did it for my wife and now she feels guilty. When I first went to the hospital for tests I was told it could be nothing to do with the op because it was safe at my last visit a few weeks ago I was told up to 20% of men have problems after . Too late for me be warned before you take the snip.

i had mine done over twenty years ago,they cut my cords and folded them back and put a stich in each cord,had pain before i could make the 30 minutes ride home after 3 weeks still could not let anything put my nuts in bind ende up the scare tissue knots the size of blackeye peas 5 years for them to go away put i had to wear jock strap for 10 years after being clipped it lead to chronic prostate infection that will come along every couple of years and at 60 yrs old this is hard to cope with it will put me in bed for about a week if i am lucky

My husband had a vasectomy 5 years ago and still has swelling in his left testicle and the come and go usually about one or two times a month and it's worse than ever he is in so much pain and I was hoping you could please help us?
