I don't know where to begin. My life was never the same after vasectomy also. I like most guys didn't notice that my life had changed that much but sooner or later everyone pays. There is no such thing as a free lunch. Every time I had an orgasm felt like getting kicked in the groin.I had 2 reversals and I still don't know what other health problems are caused by it. It is the worst decision anyone can make. Besides we don't pick our kids they choose us.

I was told the same - little or no pain - virtually 100% success with virtually no chance of long term pain (1 in a thousand) The reality is this - this is by far the worse thing I have ever done - it is 8 months and I have pain continuously. I cant walk or stand for long, sex life is almost no existent and hurts and feels completely different, going to the toilet hurts. I am completely different as a person. It has destroyed my life. I am on constant strong pain killers to try and combat it. I cannot work, play with the children, or even do the most basic things that I took for granted. I feel like there is nothing I can do. I am depressed and every day I wish I was dead. I was lied to by the doctors and feel conned into agreeing to something that has such terrible consequences. I am disgusted by the medical profession and all the pro sites that trumpet how safe this is despite lots of credible research that shows this to be a problem on a great scale (between 10-30%) I think this problem should be well known and not downplayed -if there is anyone reading this that knows how we could do this please contact me and I will do everything I can to help.
Thanks

I've had major issues with my vasectomy too. The pain is tolerable most of the time, but I have a semi-permanent lump on the bottom of my right testicle. It showed up not long after my procedure 3 years ago. Varies in size and severity but it's always there.
The more sexually active I am, the bigger and more painful it gets. When it's really bad, it hurts to the touch, hurts to sit down, and sometimes hurts to lay down or walk. Heat helps a little, rest helps, time helps - but I haven't found a solution other than waiting for it to go away.
From what I've read, I'm guessing that I have a "bad seal" on the right side and I develop a sperm granuloma every time I climax. Pretty sure this is the case as it goes away if I refrain from sexual activity for a few days / weeks...

Mate I was told it was all in my head. I only got mine reversed 2 years ago after 25years of been fob off . I could not afford the $12000 till all though years after. Unfortunately I also suffered from ED and the main cause was pain. No pain after reversal. Vasectomy cost me badly. Worse decision I ever made

I had minie 3 years ago and prior to vasectomy I'd say that most days I didn't notice my testicles were down there short of the need to relocate, scratch etc. On good days I know they're there, other days dull pain feeling, worse days sharp jab.. thankfully those days are less frequent. They don't drop and raise (cold/hot temps) like they used too and they are more swollen and sensitive than ever before. Intially painful first 6 months. My wife and her friends work in health care and initially I think they all thought I was being dramatic and sensitive about it. It was a "take one for the team" mindset. My gut feeling told me not to do it but being pressurized and told how easy and wonderful it would be I did it. Big regret. Big, big regret. All the wonderful info I got prior to getting one has gotten totally quiet and nobody talks to me about it anymore.... I think the comments others make are accurate although I have no scientific evidence to prove it.. which is if you have high sperm count and need to "release" frequently don't go near this procedure!
