Mine swelled up to the size of oranges or bigger. The doctor was having problems with the vas slipping and he just kept yanking. It took 2 months of antibiotics for the swelling to go down and 20 years latter if I don't have sex or get of once a day or more my right festival starts hurting and they told me they wanted to put a tens unit on my back to cope with the pain. Now I tell every young man that his wife needs to get her tubes tied it's safer for her one fuckup and it ruins your life all the woman has to do is lay there she doesn't have to get a hardon.

The guy is agreeing that is a bad idea, why attack him.

I am 10 years in and have suffered almost every day,. It has truly ruined my life, my marriage and my career. My wife and I are not close or intimate like we used to be. There is no tenderness and friendship like we used to have. We are like roomates. I miss my wife and I miss my old life. I had everything I could ever want. I have no sex drive anymore. Almost none. This is because some lying shyster told me the odds of chronic pain were 1 in 3000.

Jockstraps do help ease the pain a lot. Hot water bottles on the ballss helps a lot too. Frequent ejaculations to stay empty nuts helps too.

I also am having this issue, years after getting the vasectomy I feel like we should do more to let the world know that this procedure is not as cut and dry as some say.

Hi! My husband had a vasectomy 8 months ago and two months ago he started with testicular pain. I am exactly as you, I wishes we had researched more about the possible effects because if we had there is no way I would have let him do it. Is your husband still in pain? What are his symptoms? What did the doctor tell him?

I had a vasectomy and I never had those symptoms as you described.
However having pain could be relieved with pelvic floor therapy. These physical therapists are specially trained to treat pelvic floor problems.

Thank you all for this useful information. I thought that I was the only one that experience pain after 3 years. I agree with all. If I read this before my vasectomy I would have not done this.

16 years for me , pain isn't too bad and comes for a few days and goes for weeks , I really only notice drying off after a shower , two friends of mine have had the op , both have this pain , it's pretty common , I was not told there may be a chance of this .

I hear ya. I've been there. I couldn't touch my face for days. Ended up trying so many different razor. Found this site xxx that helped loads. Ended up picking up the Panasonic off that list - and for now, without getting too optimistic, I can say it's working..
