Pre-cum can contain sperm. Not all men produce lots of pre-cum though, so that makes a difference. Also, the liklihood of pregnancy depends on the stage of your cycle - the mst fertile time is about 14 days into your cycle. Don't worry too much though - the chance of getting pregnant from pre-cum is remote. As you say - it is important to use condoms as your bf may not wiithdraw his penis in time next time.
