Hi. I'm 36 and I had my tubes tied, clipped and burned Jan 2008 after my son was born. For the past two months my periods have been spotty like if it was going off which lasts about 2-4 days. My breasts are also tender and hurt like they're engorged. There hadn't been any leakage from my breasts. I'm also moody and nauseated all the time. Occasionally I may throw up. I can't stand certain smells because they make me sick on the stomach. My husband and I want more children but thought it was impossible or had to pay out over $5,000 for it to happen. I've taken two pregnancy tests, both. were negative. Could I be pregnant after a tubal that was done 5 years ago?

Yes, the possibility exists. Your tubes can grow back or if there is a small opening (from scar tissue moving around and such) then sperm can get right in and remember it only takes one.
Your best advice would be to call your doctors and let them know how you are feeling and chances will be they will do a urine pregnancy test and a blood test. This will confirm or deny that you have any HCG in your body, the pregnancy hormone.
Also, the other reason for the doctors appointment is the chances of ectopic pregnancies increase after a tubal. So, don't risk your life and get checked as soon as possible.
