Pregnancy Symptoms While On Depo!? Could I Be?

i only had 2 depo shots was supposed to go for my 3rd in july of last year. 7 months later still no period. about a month ago me and my boyfriend had sex and these last couple weeks i have been having pregnancy symptoms. frequent urination, upset stomach, always tired, everything i eat makes me feel like im going to throw up, even the smell of some things. i have read alot of stuff about being able to get pregnant while being on depo and without having a period. or being pregnant and all the home pregnancy tests coming back negative for i have taken two and both were negative. i think i am pregnant and maybe not far enough along for it to show up on a test. with my last pregnancy it didnt show up till i was almost 7 weeks. if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated!! thanks

oh forgot, i am due for my next injection april 19-may3......... i am also experiencing constipation as well!! UGH!! I feel as if i am preggo or menopause!!! SHEESH!

I was on depo when i was younger and had my period non stop for a year. I changed to the pill for 5 years and just changed back to depo. I have not been having my period and the doc said I should have gotten it because of the other birth control. I have been eating alot and feeling girgles when I am sitting here in my lower stomach/uterus. I am scared I am preg but I can't be I dont' want to be. I can't afford it right now I just would love to have some help with this. I have felt sick but have not thrown up. I am always craving spicy food. (I hate spicy food). everythign gives me heartburn. and I been feelign really tired in the middle of the day even if I have not done anything all day. I get really bad headaches and my face is breaking out I NEVER BREAK OUT I am 20 years old and hardley ever break out. I took one preg test and it came out neg. I think i may have taken it to soon I will be taking another one in the next couple days its been about 2 weeks since i have taken the last one. So if anyone has anything about this they can help me that would be great. And also breast tenderness is a major factor. but not as bad as when I am on my period. And yes I have also gained weight and been bloated. PLEASE HELP

i was supposed to go december 3,2012 for my shot i didnt go and i have been spotting it was only 2 times it was a little bit. is the depo out of my system

Yes I've got pregnant twice off the depo shot...I lost the first baby. About 8 months later I was pregnant again with a healthy baby....during my time on the shot I never had a period but I can relate to feeling sick all the time...

I had the same problems as all of you, and I was worried so I asked my doc and he thoroughly explained to me what the Depo Provera shot does. It tricks your body into thinking it's already pregnant (hence the nausea, headaches, weight gain, etc.) Now that I've been on it for over a year I have no periods, no other signs of pregnancy or anything. They told me it would take at least a year for my body to get adjusted. I can easily say it's much simpler having to go to the doc office once every three months than having to worry about a tiny pill EVERY morning:P Hope this helped

 

it can be a mis carriege too if there blood clogs i would go to the doctor if i was you asap.

I have been on the shot for years. I recently started getting nauseous , dizzy, lightheaded. Some foods I can't even choke down. I've been pregnant before it all seems familiar minus the tenderness. I took an at home pregnancy test came back negative. Without have a period for years I have no way of knowing if its even possible. Do the people who do get pregnant on the shot have spotting?

I've been on the shot for over a year now and my periods have only stopped about three or four weeks ago... Maybe longer...

but I've only started to feel sick and I get headache all the time anyway so I don't know if it's a sign or not... I've been feeling bloated too... 

Ive been seeing a friend for awhile but nothing happened but been close too but he did come on me (down there) and that was like seven weeks ago...

I've been on Depo for about a year and two months and I had sec with my boyfriend early this month. He wore a condom because he was scared I'd get pregnant, even with me being on Depo. For the past couple of weeks though I've been feeling sick to my stomach, having headaches, and my stomach has a slight cramp when I stretch. I told my boyfriend and he got nervous along with me and he went out and got a pregnancy test. I took two (since sometimes the first one doesn't work) and both said negative. Either way, I'm very confused about it and now he's too scared to even hug me. I don't know if I'm pregnant (since I took all the steps not to be) or if its my shot.

okay well im 16 and am on the deop shot and i just recently lost my viriginty to my ex boyfriend about a month ago.. and in that pariod of time i have been having these weird cravings and everything. ive been getting the food cravings the mood swing the satying up late till god knows that hour of the night then waking up every hour because i can not sleep. And im gaining a little weight but im not sure what that is about .. im  on the depo shot and im getting the spotting symptoms.. im really scared and my ex boyfriend is saying that if i am pregnant that its nit his baby. i really scared and i need help. and ive taken 3 pregnancy test and there was a dark red line but there was a second line but it was a light dark red.. i dont know what this means so i need help. PLEASE HELP ME :((

The depo shot makes your body and horemones think you are pregnant but its ok I have been on it for four years now and when I first got on it I thought I was pregnant to. Unlees you are taking antibiotics while sexually active, you will be fine everthing you girls are having is normal I had it all but I do not recommend the depo shot, it could complicate pregnantcy in the future.
