Pregnancy Symptoms While On Depo!? Could I Be?

i've just got on depo this month on the 11th. ive been sleepy, hungry and sleepy many of times through out the day. can it really mean im pregnant?

Ive been on the depo shot for 5 years now and have NEVER had a period since I got on it. But I get the prego symptoms ALOT.I swear the shot likes to fake people out alot but 4 of my friends were on the depo and poof all are prego right now... I got tested but I dont trust peeing on a stick but not really wanted a blood test or whatever... I figure if I get a big belly in 6 months or so I'll know that I am.

Ive seen this question 20 times and the answer is YES you COULD be....
BUT.... It does fake out a bunch of people. Just go get tested and figure out if you are or not..better then waiting for everyone to say MAYBE.

Hi I've been having these exactly same symptoms besides me having a baby this is my first depo I'm due for next in July but decided not to take it but I get really bad abdominal pain sick after I eat havnt thrown up etc. I was just wandering if you were pregnant or could help me !?please Abd thank u

Ok i need serious help.. ok so i been on depo for two years but 1 of the years i messed up and i had to wait until i get my period to take the shot again i think jan. was when i started over .. me and my boyfriend had sex may 17 every since then i have been feeling pregant.. first off everytime its close for me to get my shot i bleed but it wasnt time for me to get my shot n may so thats why it was so weird for me when i saw i bleed.. my symptoms i had .. my stomach was hurting soo bad for like 3 days now its jux quick normal cramps i guess.. i get nausa but never throw up, my head hurts, my nose run, my chest hurt a little, i get irrated fast, i really dnt have an appetite but sometimes i do, i have been feeling fatigue and tired,i have mood swings, n even my boyfriend been sleeping alot and he dont even sleep that much... but heres the thing i took a home pregancy test came out negative went to the doctor today to take my depo shot i didnt because if i am i didnt want to kill my baby n im ready for a child.. they took me a pregancy test also was negative.. now they doing me a blood test and i have to wait two days... So could i be pregant ... HELP ME PLAESE!!!! :)

Just got on depo a month ago and i havent had a period yet and my back has been hurting off and on lately and ive been having weird cravings. I said i was goin to wait til next month to c if i have a period if not i was goin to schedule me a doc appt.

Everything all you have said has been happening to me!/': I got on the shot arround September of 2011 &.about 3 months ago I got a boyfriend & for the past month we've been,having a lot of sex his semen is very very strong . . . & for the past week ive been feeling pregnant all the symtopms everything & I'm scared I'm not going to know I'm pregnant &.I'm going to have a miscarage ....

I know tht my doctor told me tht the depo shot can make your results come out wrong and the only real way is to have a ultrasound done.

Don't be worried all these symptoms are actually qquite normal, however you are only suppose to take the depo for up to 2 years.. I have been on it twice now and haven't had a problem wih it, side effects are weight gain, some woman bleed others don't, they use a hormone in it to trick the body in thinking its pregnant that's why you do not ovulate.. It is 99% effective however there is the 1% chance of possible pregnancy and the odds for most is very slim.. Go get blood work and maybe discuss your symptoms and concerns with your doctor so that they can help you understand the benefits, risks ect of the depo

I would also like to add that you may or may not have an appitite, you will get cranky TRUST ME.. You may feel as if your body is run down and you don't get enough sleep, you can take antibiotics and this doesn't affect the depo at all, using the depo is suppose to prevent you from having any eggs (ovulation) the sperm has nothing to fertilize you don't get the mucus on the wall of the uterus for eggs to cling and wait to be fertilized, plus if you stress and make you body think its pregnant you body will do as such.. You may be feeling like your tummy is tender and your boobs hurt it happens the is a female hormone that like I said tricks your body into thinking its pregnant.. Plus some of you I would say maybe have been taking it too long and you body mght be having side effects worse then other seems how you taking it over 2 years can cause bone density loss and other long term health effects.. Please speak to your doctors about this you may not be pregnant it could be something much more unexpected or it could be normal like I said.. Hope this helps some of you ladies :)
