Im a 25 tear old male and I've been having this exact same thing for 2 years now! Pressure under my left rib cage right under (below) where my heart sits. Feels like a mass, or a filled balloon just sitting there. I can't feel a thing on the outside surface, but I always feel it internally. Gets worse when I lay on my left side, or eat medium or large meals and sometimes comes with palpitations/PVCs. I've been to countless doctors over this time and have had stress tests, ECG, MRI of the heart, CT of the abdomen, x-rays, blood tests, you name it we have done it. I'm glad I have a proactive doctor but this is stumping him and his team. One of his PAs say it might just be a gas pocket trapped.. but if that's so, it's one hell of a trapped wind and I feel sorry for the soul whose around when it releases after 2 years! Jokes aside, if anyone has an answer or at least a diagnosis, please share!

I have the same pain/pressure. I'm not overweight or underweight. I also eat healthy and am a vegetarian, it's sometimes gets painful and very sharp and heavy. I have had kidney problems so I wonder if that's the pain I'm feeling. I go for an MRI in a few days, so I will hopefully find an answer!

Hey All, been having the same symptoms. Pinching feeling under lower left ribs. It's terribly uncomfortable. As a 26 year old smoker I was terrified that it may have been my lungs. Fingers crossed it's nothing serious and that everyone gets some much needed answers soon. Good luck all.

Sounds like a hiatal hernia. Especially with PVCs present. When a severe attack occurs a part of the stomach has pushed past the muscles separating it and into the diaphragm where the heart and lungs are located. The stomach and crowding organs in the chest will put pressure on the vagus nerve near the heart. May become short of breath and Have chest pain. The part of the Stomach that's not pushed up is pressed against the diaphragmatic muscle wall. This causes the fullness and pain under the rib.

I had this issue. Serm it was due to gas trapped in my intestine. I pressed under the rib with my fingers and heard bubbling sound. A moment lster I started farting and belching.
