Hi and thanks for this oportunity to discuss my problems. My time lines are a bit hazey but my pain is accute. I am a58 year old man and I was very active for many years with sport, in paticular marathon paddling. Both my big headed tendons are broken, both have been repaired and both failed. My left shoulder has had a full reconstruction with pins, after failed arthroscopy. My right shoulder was too badly damaged to recover the tendons so the surgeon did a cleanup as best he could and although it's my weakest I have no pain. My left however is another story. It continually surprises me with different pains from stabbing shoulder pain to upper arm soreness and aching to numb forearm. A full nights sleep is out of the question, and I now become quite anxious thinking these symptoms relate to other problems such as heart, which of course they don't. My surgeries have been over the last 10 years with my last shouldr recon 2 years ago, on my left shoulder when the pins were put in. It's most comforting to read that every one else is in the same boat
