They are ideal for people with any tendency towards tired feet or legs, or for poor circulation in the extremities. If you like to know more about,

I have the same thing. When I was 5 my mother took me to the doctor. He said I just had thin skin. A few years ago a doctor noticed it on an annual exam. He had a background in Dermatology. The condition is k own as LIVEDO RETICULARIS or as some call it, the honeycomb effect. YouTube as info on it and there are actual forums. It is very embarrassing. I actually use fake tanning to cover up my legs, especially my knees and I live in Fl. It is a form of reynaud's disease. Hope this helps everyone!

Wow, the number of young people with this issue is significant. I, too, am suddenly having this issue. Like ttawab, I'm fine while seated or lying with my legs up, but as soon as I get out of bed, or get up from a seated position, my left foot especially turns purple and blotchy. I think it's from lack of muscle / exercise because until recently I was exercising regularly and it never occurred. I need to get moving again! :)
