I have very similar problems i get itcht red a purple feet and get red blotches up my legs. They go after a while . But the back pain is not related you will have very tight thighs wich are pulling on your back muscle for movement. Try to stretch out and focus on your thighs not your back.

PLEASE find a Functional / Integrative Doctor!! They concentrate on YOU as a WHOLE PATIENT, not simply addressing the main complaint. They’re known for spending more time with you, getting to know you.

Cold hands and feet is a 100% symptom of hypothyroidism. Correct testing is vital! Insist on multiple tests from multiple labs. Regarding prescriptions, ask if non-synthetic scripts are available, or supplements of prescription grade.

My purple-ish feet are worsening a bit. Calling doc soon! I don’t believe it’s “poor circulation.” With any illness, there’s ALWAYS a root problem, causing an effect (a symptom) telling us something isn’t right. Don’t just treat the symptom! I’ll let you know what my doc says!

My 16 year old daughter is experiencing these symptoms. She has completely flat feet, which causes strain in her feet and legs, and makes me wonder if there is any connection to the purpling of the skin. Just curious, DOES ANYONE ELSE ON THIS FORUM HAVE FLAT FEET????

Oh my god, I so thought I was alone in this issue. I'm also super pale (which I love) and I've finally grown into my curves, but any chance of showing it off is totally ruined by the purple af state of my skin, especially on my legs. I also have that extreme propensity for that red/purpley shave rash, no matter what I do. I hate it and it makes me so ridiculously self conscious. But it makes me happy to know that I'm not the only one with this issue. Phew

Do I need to worry about peripheral arterial disease if my toes are purple, my legs are hurting when walking and I'm having shortness of breath?

My advice would be to go ask your doctor about this condition if you have noticed its been getting worse over time rather than on here where you will not get a correct diagnosis on what could be a serious issue

It’s not a disease. It’s just Latin for saying red vessel pain
