Its perfectly normal to have one lip larger than the other. Its perfectly normal for the difference in colour. Labias' vary just as other parts of your body vary. I see you all mention sex, first off you are all much too young to be having sex and in the future if anybody has issues with your labia then its their problem not yours. Move on from them to someone who appreciates you. Be proud of what you have.

I have one labia minora that hangs out and is purple and wrinkly the way you described so I came on to this website and did other research to see what the deal was. It seems like this is completely normal as the previous commenter have posted, and people don't seem to mind it (and rather, prefer it!) either. There are also some who get surgery to minimize the labia but there is a thread here about horror stories from doing that so I would definitely NOT do that!

I'm fifteen and my labia is also like that. I've read it's like that because of how dark our skin is supposed to be, which makes sense since I'm Filipino, Portuguese, and Spanish. I am self conscious about it too, but I know only one other person that would ever see it besides myself, and that's my accepting boyfriend who wouldn't change a thing about me (: You shouldn't be so insecure about it. Your labia sound just fine and the larger, labia are very sexy.  Do not worry if they are large, or one is larger than the other.  As a man, we love the larger labia.  So do not think about surgery.  That would ruin a good thing!  Keep yourself clean and a man will love giving you attention down there.
