my eyes are pussing through the day but mostly during the night. My eyes are sealed shut when I wake up frequently through the night because of the dryed puss. I also have symptoms of a common cold (headach, sore throat, stuffy nose). What should I do?

I have allergies problems all my life and your symptoms resembles the same I have when I experience allergy attack. This usually starts in early spring and it lasts for about few months. Some people are luckier than I am because they experience allergy side effects for just a few days. Puss eyes, sneeze nose and crying all the time are just beginning. In the end it looks like I am sick for the most time of the spring and shorter period of time in the summer.
If this started just recently I would suggest going and visiting your doctor and letting him know all your symptoms. He will probably do allergy test and afterwards you will know for sure is this the reason your experiencing such a uncomfortable symptoms.
