Hello. I'm 30 year old mother and I'm really worried about my only son. He’s only 7 years old but recently diagnosed with asthma.
You can't believe how devastated was I when I heard about all that. I know that this is disease that hard to cure and that it demands long term treatment.
Anyway, I asked his doctor how could this happen and what could be the cause of this but he told me that it is still unknown.
Good friend of mine told me that it could even me our fault.
I couldn’t believe also but she told me that simple quilts could be the cause of asthma. How could this be?

Hello. I have read your post and it got me interested about all that. I was also amazed when I read it but I was even more amazed when I found out that it is completely true.
I have found out that environmental factors and diet may explain the higher rates of asthma in certain people of families.
Many studies have shown that there is association between asthma incidence and things such as environmental factors and diet including cooking by gas, foam pillows, and use of cotton quilts.
So it is true- use of cotton quilts can really trigger asthma. Even contact with pets such as cats, dogs, or farm animals and consumption of meat, fruit, cooked green vegetables, and raw vegetables can cause all that.
