Three weeks ago I was diagnosed with foliculitis. First time and out of The blue had blisters show up all over my left side from my waist down. Had six large spots that got really infected have been on two different types of antibiotics. During all this I have had severe pain in my muscles and joints. Debilitating to the point I can hardly walk or stand. Now just my joints hurt mainly ankles, knees,wrist. With the first antibiotic it was working great but I was afraid the other problems were due to an allergic reaction. They switched me to clindamycin hcl. I'm allergic to penissilian . After a couple days I started getting really sick vomiting however no diarrhea I have been unable to have a bowel movement in a week although I'm unable to eat due to the fact everything tastes absolutely horrible and foul the taste in my mouth is horrible and foul. I've stopped all my meds 3 days ago and still waiting. I have numbness in my feet and hands ankles and wrists and knees killing me. I would go back to the er but I have no insurance so they don't check anything or run any tests just change my meds and send me home. I'm at a loss here but all in all its been 3 weeks of me in bed and I don't feel this is normal. Any help would be greatly appreciated I'm at a loss and don't know what I should do?
