My 17 year old daughter has been acting strangley this week and I recently heard her crying in the bathroom. I didnt ask her about it but after she had left, I found blood on the toilet seat which she hadnt seen and a large patch of blood in the washing she had tried to hide. She has had constapation when she was little but not now, and certainly never had this before. I am tempted to ask a nurse to come as a home visit as she wont tell me anything. If anyone could help this would be great.
She is extremley embaressed about the tiniest of things and very prude so this is a challenge to ask her.

She could be hugely impacted with fecal matter. Some extra fiber in her diet would do her greatly. It should be nothing to be embarrassed about and blood in the stool is no little matter, it is a concern that something is wrong with her gastrointestinal tract. She SHOULD see a doctor.
