Hi All,
I am a 24 year old male and about 3 years ago i started getting red spots of dry flaky skin on my face near my nose. I have uploaded a photo showing the red dry flaky skin near my nose under my eye.

This is the common spot where i get this. It seems to go away over the summer months and my skin is fine but straight after summer it comes back and stays with my throughout the year. The redness and dry skin comes and goes every few weeks. I have used many moisturizing creams but they don’t really help, some sting when I put it on and can make it worse.
Any ideas on what this could be and what I can do to make the redness go away?

Hello, I am also 24 and I have had this problem for many years, I went to a dermatologist and found that it is a sensitivity to cooler weather causing you skin to chap and bubble up so to speak. I was told to use petroleum jelly(Vaseline) at night and any kind of lotion(non-scent) with UV protection (Olay total effects fragrance free) Hope this helps, best of luck.

Hi RobL did using the vaseline and olay help? Does it keep the redness away?
