Hi everyone,
I recently noticed that during some of my periods, instead of liquidy blood like normal, I've been getting this bloody/red gooey substance. It's like the white discharge you get before your period except for it's bloody and there's a lot more of it. It happens for most of my period (maybe three to four days). I'm a sixteen year old and I haven't had sex.
I'm sorta concerned. And a little embarrassed. Can anyone direct me to some information sources as to what this might be?
Thanks.
i have this too! ive been on the implant for about 6 months now and its getting thicher, its worried me too and sort of makes me feel sick but ive been told its nothing to worry about so im just gonna see if it carrys on or gets worse. so i just have to say that you shouldnt worry and if you do worry talk to someone like your mum of if it bothers you ask a doctor.

Sounds like you already had your period. If you have had your period, it is a blood clot, very common. Im 13 turning 14 in May. I have researched the same embarresing subject. Ik its gross. If you are still worried about it, then talk to your guardian/parent or a friend. Maybe you could contact your doctor through the phone and get more information that way...instead of him/her getting in you. lol sorry, but I hope this helps you! :)

Hey Girls,
What you're experiencing is normal. The "red gooey stuff" is either the lining of your uterus, or a blood clot. Clots happen during you period sometimes when you're sitting still or laying down for a while. Hope that helps. Carry on!
