red gooey substance during period instead of blood. I'm majorly concerned.

i havent gotten my period yet and ive never had sex. I used a piece of toilet paper and i noticed that there are little spots of blood on the piece. Is this my period? Please help, im very embarrassed

The bloody gell type slimy stuff is a blood clot your basically removing all blood clots which is good and your okay it isnt deadly it just a blood clot being removed on yout period atleast thats what my mom says but its suppose to remove future blood clots from happening ig.

Your spotting so that's the first sign of your period cycle, so in about 1-3 months you would of fully started your period.
