Hello. I'm 25 year old male and just recently I noticed that I have developed some skin condition on my scrotum. Because the problem is rather delicate I haven’t told anyone about this.
It all started like one small bump that started to grow.
I didn’t know what it could be and I was very scared. Day by day bump was getting bigger and bigger and it filled with some whitish material. It also become very painful.
Like I said, I don’t know anything about this but this looks to me like some kind of cyst. How serous these cysts could be and what should I do about this?

Hello. You have definitely described how one scrotum cyst should look like: big, painful bump filled with pus.
I must tell you immediately that these cysts usually aren’t dangerous in any way. The scrotum has many large sebaceous glands.
These glands may form cysts when some bacteria attacks them or during the gland duct blockade. They vary in size- from the size of marbles to small painless lumps.
They usually drain white, greasy material and I wouldn’t recommend you to try squeezing it because you could only infect it.
You could wait for few more days because they usually go away by them self or you could contact your GP and schedule surgical removal!
