I'm 21 years old, had two sebaceous cysts since I was 15. I've been draining them myself with pliers and a needle, today I was given Fucidin cream from the doctor. Will try it out!

Hey guys, I have had this issue basically twice now. I wanted to post a really helpful thing I found on here somewhere that could help you. Here's my story. If you don't want the story, go buy tea tree oil and apply it 3x daily then wait for it to arise to the surface to pop.

The first time it happened I went to a military doctor and he said it was part of a hair follicle that was irritated because i shave and it'd be fine. At that time it was small and not a bump at all. It went away within 2 weeks. I got an STD check because I'm sexually active and was totally clean. It came back later that year, almost 8-10 months, and I became more of a bump and popped out. It was hard inside but did not hurt at all. It was ugly and I didn't have sexual confidence because women don't want to see that and I don't want to explain that 'hey it's just a bump' kind of thing. This time I basically just picked at it until it was 'open'. At this point I took a couple shots of whisky and decided this is time. I basically found this weird hard stuff and removed it piece by piece(this is quite small but when you're talking about your penis it seems massive). I put neosporin on it after I made sure it was all gone and within hours it was not swollen, no bump, no hardness, nothing. It healed within 3 days. This did not feel good and it didn't look exactly pretty for a week but it healed fined with no scar.

About 2 years later, last 2 weeks, I noticed it was coming back in the identical spot. It was not a bump, just kind of an off skin tone thing that looked like a pimple inside the follicle. I just didn't worry about it and hoped it'd go away like the first time. It remained unnoticeable other than to me and my hand when I squeezed, small hard center, for 2 weeks. It started to swell and become a bump. No pain, but it didn't feel good to squeeze. I began to research this because it's coming back! And I like sex, forget this mess!!! Somebody wrote 'tea tree oil'. I know a lot of people who used this on infections, piercing cysts, bad pimples with hard centers, etc. So I got it and applied 3 times a day with a cotton swab. I will warn you that this stuff stinks and you won't want to show your penis to a girl while using it. It also can have a slight burning sensation for about 15-30 minutes but I found it doable(way less burn than icy hot). The swelling went down and the skin kind of tightened over 2-3 days, the white hard matter was moving to the surface and I was hoping it was dissolving itself but it didn't. What happened was it rose to the surface well enough that almost a pimple head formed. I was able to push the center out and it 'popped' with a large white hard pimple like matter out. Immediately no pressure, no swelling, no hard matter, no discomfort, nothing. I have a very small pin sized hole there and it's healing fast without pain or much visible damage. This was such an easier way to fix this than self removing or painful home surgery. Please try this first before going that route.

If you want to know if it's the same thing you have, first try to see a doctor if you have good healthcare. Secondly, you should be able to feel a hard center that you can feel or squeeze. There should be no pain, but it feels tight when you put pressure on it or squeeze. Should be pinkish, off skin color, maybe slightly red. Does not look infected. Does not have an open sore. Pus is extremely limited and more of a pimply substance when anything comes out.

These things are a pain in the ass and aesthetically unpleasing. It might take a week to three for it to be able to pop, do not cut a hole in your penis!!! you are not a surgeon! Relax and try some diff methods first. I hope this helps you guys out there!!!

You save my penis from being cut homie! I had to look up different methods before I did something I would regret because like any other man, I care for my penis. My girlfriend and I were both worried before my doctor assured me it was no STD. Thank you. Hoping to see results after I buy the oil tonight!

Alright if anyone has anything like this on their penis. I've had a sebaceous cyst on my penis for several months an years has even given me physiological an sexual problems where I couldn't even bring myself to have sexual intercourse with girls, due to girls thinking it was an std or just nasty to have sex with me or telling other girls about what I had down there lol. I had to bring myself to see a doctor. It's hard at first but you will feel so much better and free after you tell someone including your parents if your on their insurance. I'm 23 yrs old and just had my surgery yesterday and everything was fine no pain at ALL. I had 7 removed lol I no CRAZY! Why would someone let this get so out of hand idk but I'm so happy now that it's over with and I can live my life now. Once my doctor got them out he actually said it was a bacteria I was born with. I had general anesthesia which was amazing don't be nervous about anything they take really good care of you I promise, they'll give you liquid morphine after the surgery and you'll feel that immediately and this is my penis were talking about I thought I would be in the worst pain EVER!! Gave me OxyContin and I haven't taken any of those since I haven't had any pain at all. Thought I would wake up in pain this morning since I wouldn't have any pain meds in my system and I didn't thank god. I no everyone takes surgery different but I'm just sharing my experience and not to live your life the way I have to get the surgery, get them removed, don't try to pop them every day or itch at them irritate them. See your doctor he will get you in immediately an they will be gone! My doctor even told me that I shouldn't be in that much pain and recovery is 1-2 weeks! I will repost after Thursday when I take my bandage off and see what all there is underneath there but there is suppose to be minimum scarring with surgery as well.

I have one that I thought was just an ingrown hair which I landed and popped. Got blood and a hair with some solid pus around it. Now a few hours later it is swollen about twice the size and hurts. Cleaned it and put antibiotic cream on it but still concerned

these are usualy cysts if theyre releasing pus, they really suck because of how noticeable they can be, sometimes it tends to happen in an area where hair follicles are in grown. For me its a family thing, my dad had them so I have them. Ive had one removed off the top of my butt twice, had one on my scrotum which I home surgeried off because it was so near the surface but was pretty painful to do. Now I have one on my shaft lol, I can't win. Its relatively painless and while playing around with it trying to see how hard it was, I had pus come out a hole like 1 cm away from where the cyst is which isn't a good thing because that means some probably got released inside. Strongly recommend seeing a doctor. Im going to wait mine out now that its popped but most likely Ill have to go as well.

I got a sebaceous cyst removed today. I'm very private, but I thought I'd share this with you all. Compared to you guys who endured a small incision where the puss was squeezed out, mines had already hardened to the point where I could turn it around on the opposite side (luckily, it never ruptured) . It was located underneath the bottom side of my shaft, directly adjacent to my head. It was not always hard but I've had it since I was nine. I am now twenty years olds with a swollen and 'bandaged' penis that is in recovery. Honestly, I regret not lying to the doctor by telling him that my cyst caused pain and discomfort when it first appeared. It affected my life socially when it came to having relationships with the opposite sex. Did I mention that I'm still a virgin?!? I developed a stigma that if I told girls that I liked about my situation, they would freak out. I'm very good-looking, as I was told, but that would not stop most girls from thinking I had a disease even after explaining a sebaceous cyst extensively. This caused me to avoid relationships because I was too embarrassed. Men are very sensitive when it comes to their "manhood". Sure, most of them are not painful but why wait for it to rupture or experience what i have? Personally, I would tell any man, kid or parent/s of kid that if you are or know someone that is a experiencing a sebaceous cyst on the penis, encourage them to get it removed. Although I'm in bearable pain, I was extremely ecstatic when it was no longer attached to me. I can now finally restore my social and begin my sexual life. No. This post is not about sex but to inform those of how a guy can be affected severely by something so small, that can be avoided by local anesthesia and twenty five minutes of his time.

I have the exact same problem and tried the exact same thing. I used the needle and cut the one I couldn't pop out. It seemed to work then came back. I've been messing with them for months now. Nothing works I'm just going to the doc. Maybe the hot press thing I've never tried it

I had a tiny little hard bump on top side of my shaft no bigger than the head of a pin. it didn't hurt. but when erect it seemed more pronounced. i could feel it with my hand when masturbating. i figured if i could feel it with my hand someone ELSE would surely feel it with their mouth. i went to the doctor nervous what it might be. he said it was only a cyst and he could just burn it off. i asked if i would FEEL that. He said no because he would give me a shot to numb the area. i asked if i would feel THAT! He said it was a tiny needle and that all that loose skin made the penis one of the least painful places to get a shot. He was right. The shot was only a slight prick (no pun intended) then he burned it off with some sort of tool (i couldn't make myself watch). i felt literally nothing during the proceedure. it took 5 seconds and it was gone. used neosporin on the scab that formed until it fell off two days later. I'm so glad i went to the doctor.

About a week and a half ago, I noticed a small lump on the back of my penis shaft right at the bottom. I shaved a couple days before so i jsut assumed it was an ingrown hair that would eventually form a pimple-like head that i could pop. Two weeks later to today, it's about the size of a small marble and feels under neath the skin, not at the top, there's no head to it either like a pimple. It feels fluidy for the most part but seems irritated (can not masturbate because of it, which sucks). I just tried poking it with a clean needle but f@%k that, it's too sensitive and I'm not putting anything sharp like that on/in my penis again. I'm 99% sure this is not an sti/std and is just something regular. is it a cyst? is it filled with fluid? is it an ingrown hair? is it infected? is there anything i can do to make it go away without using a needle or anything sharp or will it go away on its own? it is kind of embarrissing because irritating and won't go away and is definitely an eyesore.

Hello people, I just wanted to share my knowledge of these cysts that I myself have experienced in the past and am still dealing with now. firstly DO NOT try to burst these cysts as it will most likely result in an infection. Yes puss may come out but it will come back again and twice the size that it was originally. It can also result in scarring tissue and that's also unpleasant to live with knowing that its there.

Pay no attention to the people giving you ideas about cutting into your skin to try removing the source of the cyst. Yes sometimes hairs can cause these to appear or it may just be where you've squeezed the gland and irritated it. THESE LIL WHITE BUMPS THAT APPEAR ARE PERFECTLY NATURAL SO LEAVE THEM ALONE OR YOU WILL END UP NEEDING TO SEE A DOCTOR.

If you have already gone past the point of no return where you have squeezed the gland and irritated it and that resulting in a cyst the size of a pea.. Just build up the courage to see your local doctor and they'll most likely give you the option to have it surgically removed OR prescribe you with 2 weeks worth of antibiotics (The antibiotics I myself have used and the swelling went down considerable within 7 days) These of course enter your blood stream and kill any bacteria inside the cyst that preventing it from healing and this ultimately means no scarring!

Ps. You may have more than just one or two of these little white bumps covering parts of your penis and possibly your sack but these are harmless and as long as you leave them alone they will eventually go away naturally by themselves.
