Last week, I tried to remove the skin on it by rubbing and pulling it in order to squeeze the white stuff out. I also did it under the shower a few days ago and a bit of blood came out, and then it was kind of swollen. As I showered today, I once again rubbed it and tried to pull it out, but I eventually squeezed the cyst and the white stuff inside finally came out. It is a great feeling to remove it, but hopefully this fixed it for good. The discussion here helped me a lot, thank you.

I have had a couple of these that started looking asif they were mere small pimples. I being a frantic squeezer, tried popping the little cu*ts!
I found with the first one it to be a blocked hair folicle or ingrown hair and managed with tweezers and some squeezing to remove it! It is now good as gold! With the second one it was a bit bigger and i didnt want to squeeze it cos once again i went to town and it only got infected and made it worse! So i washed it in the shower each day with soap and used an anti septic cream. The skin slowly seemed to peel away just in that area and i squeezed it gently each day for about 3 days and one day all the puss just squeezed out. I cleaned it thouroughly in the shower and woke up the next day with it looking pretty damn good! They are both now gone and cant be seen but the first one due to my crazy squeezing left a bit of skin damage so its a bit lighter then usual. I now have a new one this time more around towards the front of my penis shaft, ( i seriously need to stop trying to pop them haha ) and im hoping the cream and wash method with no squeezing will help it disperse or be easily squeezed out! If not i heard applying a warm face washer or heat pack to it for 10 mins 2 times a day can help it drain back into your body. If it gets worst ill probably go to a doctor...try some methods you have read on here but dont go trying to remove it yourself unless you actually get the hair to come out via squeezing it or what not. And dont squeeze it! be gentle with the lil fella, or in my case "big" fella ;)

I had one for years that was extremely embarrassing. I went to the doctor and got a referral to a Urologist. He cut it out. Bite the bullet, call the urologist.

I seemed to have a similar problem to everyone else here. I'm abit worried it's possibly an STD, but I'm doubtful.
I first had it a couple of weeks ago, I tried squeezing it and it some white pus came out, similar to a spot, so I think I rightfully assumed it was just that and left it alone.
However, it's been pretty persistent and hasn't seemed to have decreased in size. It's a very hard 3mm bump, under the skin. When I stretch my skin around it, it looks like there's a small red mark across it.
Any advice?
I'm seeing the doctor tomorrow, hopefully will get a diagnosis.

ok I felt it was my responsibility to post my case on this forum, after too much jacking off, i noticed the same problem as everyone here, small bump ingrown-hair cyst type thing on penis had it for about a month, probably about 4x3mm maybe protrudes half a mm. I know it was not an std, as i am totally clean. This same thing happened to me about 2 years ago, but quickly went away, but this time took longer. GUYS!!! the warm compress is what worked, just do the warm compress for 10 minutes once or twice a day, and mine is nearly gone after a week!!!! The first day of the warm compress in the shower i was about to squeeze some puss out of the cyst. I just stretched the skin and pushed down, not the normal acne type popping!!! Never went to a doctor, they weird me out, but I would if it didn't go away. Right now I have a bump around half to a third as noticeable, seems to be making good progress.
I also tried a cold compress (just same procedure as below, but with a bowl of ice and water) and exfoliated with coffee grounds, not sure if these helped but didn't seem to hurt. I also tried neosporin and a bandaid, this did not seem to help, as probably was just clogging the pores more, but i would recommend this for maybe the day it pops. (Also make sure to cut the sticky part of the bandaid shorter, you don't need all that tape on your penis) Also i'm an on antibiotics right now, because my wisdom tooth is infected, so that could also be helping, not sure.
Warm compress details:
If you have a hot shower you can just turn the heat up and make sure a stream is hitting the cyst directly for about 5-10 min, don't burn your penis though.

Also you can heat up some water in the microwave till it is boiling, then dip a small piece of a folded cloth in the water, squeeze out if you can or just let drip back into the water, then let the cloth cool for a minute so that it doesn't totally burn your penis (keep checking with the back of your hand), then put on penis for a minute until cool. Keep repeating until water is not warm enough. 10 minutes of this twice a day

I had this for about a year, small hard bump on base at side.
Whilst on vacation it went septic and so needed a good bit of squeezing.
Only thing in the bathroom was pure LAVENDER OIL, so I used that twice daily , and now it's virtually gone thank god

I had two that started as about the size of grains of rice on the bottom side of my shaft. Months later that had hardened and were about the side of peas. I got them removed today. DIDNT HURT AT ALL. A urologist did it. It was awkward for about 5 seconds then actually kind of funny. I hate to say it but they do not go away on their own so just get it taken care of. Don't pop them it doesn't work.

Specifically under Treatment: "Placing a warm moist cloth (compress) over the area may help the cyst drain and heal."
This sounds like it may or may not work and it may not keep the cyst from reapearing but it's something you can do at home without using any sharp instruments; I'm not as daring as many people when it comes to anything sharp and potentially fatal. The erection process consists mostly of blood movement, so trying to cut out or pop a cyst can easily result in cutting a vein or artery.
