I'd head to the dr to get it removed. It won't go away by itself. I put it off for years but after a few weeks recovery I should have done it sooner. The process isn't as bad as I was expecting.

Ok so here's the truth, when you get these cysts on your penile area they usually appear from dry rubbing masterbation, "no it is not a STD" .... your penis skin has several small crevices and minute holes so consider them like black heads on your nose except on your penile area the holes can open and close so if there is build up inside the whole then it gets sort of infected.. but there is a easy way to fix it. You just need to get the stuff out and stop master bating without line . I know it sounds crazy but if you can bust the stuff out with a needle or by pinching them it will be just fine .......

Let me start by saying that this isn't my first home surgery I've done to myself, (removed a mrsa absess,twice.bkth times it didn't come back and with minimal scarring) . I have had a bump in the under part of the shafts of my penis for about 6 months or more. I've tried squeezing it to no avail. So today I got my hands on sterile long tip syringes and a fresh pack of razor blades. I slowly used the needle to slip the skin one layer at a time to open it up. I'm positive it was a pilar cyst because it was basically tough whitish tissue, no puss and was situated under a raised and obviously clogged pore where hair should be coming out of, but is not. I slowly managed to work around the wall of it to dislodge it, and pulled a single mass about the size of the body of a carpenter ant out. Despite the nauseatingly deep hole, the lump under the skin is don't and the area on the top of the skin has lowered so it's not raised anymore. I flushed the inside with rubbing alcohol and put bacitracin and a bandaid on it. Hopefully it dissapeara

Hey all I had a white little bubble type cyst just under head on shaft on underside of penis. It was like a little seed. I've had it for about 20 years. I finally went to a dermatologist. He stuck it with some local numbing agent, just a little sting and then a few minutes later snipped it off with scissors. No stitches and no blood. Ten minutes total in his office. Go to your PCP or dermatologist and they can quickly help you too I hope. I now no longer have a white seed on my apparatus!!! Thank you doc!

Just wanted to post an update about this, just in case anyone else's spending hours reading through all these comments looking for a solution like I was.
In short: IT WORKED LIKE A F***ING CHARM, HEALED WONDERFULLY, AND NOW IT'S LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED. To recap, I had a sebaceous cyst on my penis that got infected, had it surgically removed by a urologist, but of course it was back in like 6 months. Grew very slowly for like 12 years until it started to get infected again, so I used ichthammol ointment (or drawing salve), applying 4x/day, covering with a band-aid, and mixing in a hot compress at least 2x/day. After 10 days, it popped out on it's own, and has never recurred since, and it's been over a year. No pain, no nothing.
Really wish I would have done this the first time around, instead of opting for surgery.

Does the medicine called Salactol you've mentioned above come in as pills or as some sort of rubbing alcohol. And thank you for the response above too.

Yes I had the same thing happen. The stitches fell out as well but it healed and my anxiety is gone.
