Hi. My kid is also epileptic. He has seizures all the time, when she sleeps and when she`s awake. It is important to say there are more than 40 different types of seizure. Some types are more likely to occur during sleep. So, many conditions, such as sleep walking, bed wetting and sleep apnea, can be confused with sleep seizures. I had to buy a low bed for my daughter, to keep her sleeping environment safe for her rest and to reduce the risks of injury during sleep seizures. I have places cushions around her bed, and put all the sharp objects away. I have also covered sharp edges around her bed with towels.
