This started (I believe) when I was coughing about a week ago.
The pain is so bad that it doubles me over. I have to lean as far
to the right as I can to soften the pain but it still brings tears to
my eyes.
I have a cough with a bit of mucus (somewhat colored mostly
in the AM). I bought and have taken 2 doses of Musinex today.
It doesn't hurt any other time. Unless I turn at my waist extremely
far or bend to far. But the pain from bending to squelch the pain from
coughing is less than if I didn't.
Could this be a cracked/fractured rib???
If so what do they do for something like that?

Ok if its a assumption of rib fracture, would not the chest xray reveal the same. or do u have to take some other xray to find out the rib fracture.
pls suggest. as i too have the same problem. its paining even if i dont cough and cant sleep in the night. so i hardly control my cough to avoid this pain.
i did my chest xray recently which is normal and doctor has put me on 3 times a day pain killer dolo-650

Search for chronic appendicitis, most doctors say that it doens't exist but from the stories I have read online i belive that its very real. Right now im concerned that i mitgh have chronic appendicitis but the doctrs say its just a flue but the pain in the right lower corner of my abdomen gets worse when i cough alot. its the only explenation i found for my symptoms.
