A friend of mine has had a severe itching problem for a month with defined areas on the outer knee, thigh, ankle on both legs and outer arm.
He only itches in these areas and finds it very distracting. He's stopped all suppliments of vitamins and even his thyroid medication as his doctor advised. It got just a little better and when he went back on his thyroid medication three days later it began to worsen a little. Showers worsen the conditon. He's found some relief with Aveno products and aloe vera from the plant. He would like to try natural means to balance his body and may try a naturpath physician next.

He's never had any allergies. The itching and burning sensations are very strong and just in those specific areas. Any idea what is causing this? He's in his 60's and very healthy.
