two weeks ago i had sex. for the first 5 minutes it was unprotected, and then he pulled out and we finished with a condom on.

that was during my ovulation period. and we have done it before where the first 5 minutes is without protection. but after this time around, i've felt different.

i started getting really really bad cramps, and midol/pamprin wasn't working. i got cravings for different foods that i've never had or haven't eaten in a while. i had minor headaches and have been extremely tired. my nipples are now dark in color and my breasts very tender to the touch. i have felt very nauseous, but never thrown up. very moody and emotional. and now my stomach/abdomin feels really tight.

i took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. and i did get my period, but it was extremely light, it lasted 3 days, and it was like brown in color the whole time.

i don't know what to do. i don't even know what to think. and i'm definitely not sure if i'm pregnant or not. so if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

The fact that the test was negative and that you got your periods make it most probable that you are not pregnant.
It is possible that a lot of the symptoms you experienced were due to your concern that you may have been pregnant.
I have some months were I have ovulation pain and that is the month that I usually have a light period. If you find that the pain appears every month, or every other month, at time of ovulation, then you should see a doctor.

First things first! Take a deep breath.

Most likely you are not pregnant.

Okay, so now that is out of the way...

As you grow older and as your sexual activities level change your hormonal balance will alter. So if you are having sex more often your periods may be lighter, heavier, you may get more/less spotting, you will crave different foods.

The part that I notice most is that you had "really really bad cramps". If that is the case then something is wrong with the pregnancy if you have one. Pain like that is not normal.

Pregnancy symptoms take 6 weeks to show up anyways, women RARELY experience them sooner.

I used to have pregnancy "scares" when I was dating someone a few years back. Come to find out, we can freak out so much over it, that our bodies can have a pseudo pregnancy (aka a fake pregnancy) where we show a lot of symptoms, but we are not really pregnant.

After the five week mark of the unprotected sexual encounter, take another test, or if you are still worried, go to Planned Parenthood right away. You can get on birth control there without your parents knowing.

Its better to get in trouble for being caught on birth control then to ruin your life by getting pregnant when you aren't ready.

Hope this helps!
