I have been having a shooting pain sensation on the left side of my stomach for about 10-11 months. They usually last for a few hours, and then go away. Sometimes they wake me up during the night and leave me feeling nauseous. Food typically makes my stomach feel better, accept for coffee and really acidic food.
A few months after the rash began, it was followed by the appearance of a flaky rash on my skin and and a blisterous rash in my mouth which was diagnosed as lichen planus. Acidic and spicy foods cause my mouth to blister and I'm wondering if the lichen planus could be causing the same thing to happen in my stomach, which results in these pains, since my X-rays show i have no blockage and my blood work is normal.
