My father works in the factory with the dangerous chemicals, including mercury. But lately he started to act strangely, he is always fatigued and constant mood changes are present. My friend (whose father works at the same place) says that it might be a case of the mercury poisoning. What are the signs of that condition?

Most common signs in that condition depend on the longevity of the poisoning, so there is an acute and chronic poisoning. There might be just some slight symptoms like nausea, loss of appetite etc. But in the chroming poisoning there are mood changes, which are actually neurological issues. The only effective treatment is to avoid mercury, if possible.
