My friend has been very sick for the past month and a half. At first she didn't get her period for about 4 months then once she got it it did not go away for about 2 1/2 weeks. At about the 2 week mark she went to the doctors and they told her she had anemia and prescribed her pills. After taking the pills for a couple days her period stopped. About a week later she got strep throat. Ever since she went to the doctor for her strep throat she has been feeling nauseous, been throwing up, having diarrhea, very light headed and constantly tired. She barely eats any food and says eating food sounds gross and doesn't sound appealing. The doctor told her to come back if she didn't get better and get tested for mono? Is that what she has?
