Hi there!
This started (roughly) on 11/22/17. It's 11/25/17 as of this post.
So this week I noticed a sort of pain on the bottom of my left testicle. It's not bad, it sort of feels like someone flicked it, but less severe. If there was one word to describe the feeling, it would be "twinge." This sensation lasts anywhere from 5-45 seconds and goes away for about 5 minutes and comes back. Only when sitting. As of this moment, it's fine. I have inspected the area multiple times in the past few days and found nothing out of the ordinary in the form of bumps or lumps, no swelling, (that I can tell) and it's not tender to the touch. When I wake up in the morning it's fine, but gets comes on throughout the day.
It's not debilitating, or even "painful" in a traditional sense, more like "just there."
When I get up and walk around, or even just stand it's fine. I am 25 years old, sexually inactive, and VERY inactive in general. I don't exercise or even go for walks unless I have to. I sit at my computer up to 10 hours a day on average, wear very tight underwear, (boxer-briefs) and also sit with my legs crossed for hours at a time, always in the same position, which I've read can all cause these symptoms. Problem is, so can about a million other things.
I do shave, literally everything. Arms, armpits, legs, chest, belly.. Everything as I find all body hair to be disgusting and even a single one prevents me from sleeping as I can't stop touching it. (I know, not normal, but I'm at peace with it) This includes my scrotum. I have had ingrown hairs from doing it that got infected before in multiple places, Had a good one on my hand a few months back and before this started, I had one on my scrotum in direct proximity to the current issue. It was directly over the are in fact. It was about the size of a large pea, but it popped and it's all but gone now, There's a bit of "scaring" still, but that should also go away, I'm quite use to this. I'm wondering if the infection could have migrated, or maybe just residual pain?
It was worse yesterday than it was the first night. But it's better today, and appears to be slowly getting better as the time between the "twinges" are becoming greater as the "twinges" themselves are becoming less pronounced. I would say that it has actually went from more of a pain, to an almost itching sensation in the past 12 hours.
I understand the internet is not a doctor, but going to see one is not going to be easy for me. As I don't even have a photo ID I could use to visit a walk-in clinic. So much a car to get to one. The only doctor I know is my dentist, and that's only because I had a bad, head on dirt bike accident with a van in my late teens and lost most of my front teeth, which he replaced with implants.(wear your helmets kids) I haven't ridden a bike (of any kind) in over a year, so I doubt it's that. I have read bike seats can cause these symptoms as well.
I have a dentist appointment on the 29th, if it's not gone by then I plan to try and find a doctor to take a look.
The two options that seem the most likely in my very unprofessional opinion, other than a minor, self induced injury (read below) are an Inguinal Hernia, but this is almost always visible in some way, it says on Google "Usually self-diagnosable" and "Lab tests or imaging rarely required" but I'm not seeing any obvious signs of that. Then again, it does say "usually" and "rarely" which, to me means, "not always"
The other is an infection, as I did have an infected ingrown hair in that exact area very recently, in fact there's still some visible signs of it.
I noticed after what I would call a "legendary session" of masturbation. 5 times in 1 hour... And it was "hateful." I mean, I was being very aggressive with my self.
I hate having to admit that to anyone, but it's what happened, and this does not seem like the time or place for sugar coating. What I think might have happened is while I was pleasuring myself i shook them up, because they were bouncing a jiggling all over the place. I was also sitting in my chair, which is itself old and uncomfortable, all crunched up at my cramped computer station.
Any and all advice or insight would be appreciated.

Hi Anon,
I'm experiencing the same type of symptoms you are. I don't have it in both, just one (the right one). I sit pretty much all day, whether it be at work or at home gaming. I found myself sitting on my left foot a lot (left foot under my right leg). I have gotten many urinalysis done and even blood work, but those indicated no infections (at least bacterial), therefore, and seeing as you're sexually inactive, you can rule out an STI.
It could be an inguinal hernia, but after an ultrasound, they found no cause for concern. I spoke with my doctor two weeks ago and he suggested that it could be tightness in your pelvic floor muscles (he referred to it as weakness, but this typically indicates, in a broader term, a dysfunction of the pelvic floor). My assumption for you is that it actually isn't testicular pain that you're feeling but rather, disruption and dislocation of blood flow to and from your either spermatic cord (not to get it confused with epididymitis, which is caused by bacterial infections; including chlamydia and gonorrhea, though those can be unaccounted for considering you're sexually inactive). That being said, try your best to get tested for any STI's anyways because if you have had sex and you do have an STI, any prolonged sustained STI (especially chlamydia) can affect the spermatic cord and sometimes, though not always, lead to reduced sperm count and/or infertility.
I'm not a doctor by any means, but having this issue for three months, you can't help but google every symptom until you've found a probable and logical answer. I often found myself going in circles, finding symptoms of one thing far enough until I'm convinced of that and then having a doctor disagree.
Something to consider in the near future (if this problem is even a problem anymore). Does the pain go away when you're in the shower? Have you tried icing your region? If so, do you feel as though the pain worsens or feels better? Have you tried heat? If so, does it help the pain severity? The reason being, if ice helps the pain then it could be inflammation which could indicate an infection, meanwhile heat would indicate that there's a lack of blood flow, which could indicate a pinched nerve (for example, a pinched pudendal nerve). These things happen to everyone and unfortunately, depending on where you live, the health care system doesn't seem to tend to matters like this.
