I am 29 years old and i have had the same exact syptoms for about 4 years (upper left testicle, discomfort/pain radiating from the lower left abdomine to the lower left side of the back. At first I also thought it may have been cancer, it scared the hell out of me. My second thought was hernia, but, the family doctor diagnosed me with an ailment known as "a bag of worms". Can someone please explain this to me? The term doesn't seem very technical to me. By the way, the discomfort, not pain, has grown more over the years. I can only say discomfort because the "pain" dosen't keep me awake at night.
I have the same exact thing. It began about five years ago or so when I was in my late 20s. I can tell you the exact instant. I was at work and my left testicle suddenly began to ache and swell, literally out of nowhere. I took Advil and the swelling subsided. I later examined myself and discovered a tiny lump on top of my left testicle. I saw a Doctor who had a hard time even finding it. He was not at all concerned, but because I requested it, referred me to a Urologist who performed an Ultrasound two time, six months apart. The diagnosis was an epididymal cyst or spermatacele.
I've had it ever since. It hasn't grown in size. But the discomfort persists. A dull, not even pain, just annying discomfort. I'm always aware of the cyst. It's very subtle, but it is there. The discomfort can spread into my left buttock and down my thigh at times. I've considered having it removed, but still haven't decided. It does drive me crazy though.
I'm currently feeling the same thing on my left teste. I had the big "V", and wonder if it has anything to do with it?

i went to the same doctor who stitched me up and it was diagnosed as epididymitis. he started me on antiinflammatories, and i may require antibiotics. you can look up epididymitis. I did. it tells you how to care for it. but its about a week later, i played the night after getting stitches, and another game since then. it seems to be getting better...my point is for this injury, dont mind it. just rest it, baby the area, and get on anti inflammatories (advil). and hopefully all of your scrotems are feeling okay, lol =)

I have the same problem. The doctor told me this lump above the left testicle is a cyst. He said wearing boxers isnt good for you if they do not support the testicles. hanging down without support will cause this. I bought some supporting them and the pain is less if not gone. The lump is still there but at least no pain.
