I am 45 years old and I have to say that I never thought I will have anxiety kind of problems. It is usually about some things that have to happen, some work obligations that has to be finished etc. This all is making me very nervous and I have to admit that smoking helps me relax. Well, what should I care less of, my lungs or my mind? Are there any relaxation techniques for anxiety that could help me relax besides smoking?

You should think about both things. Losing either one of those two will not end positively for you. But I guess you already know that. At the moment though, it seems that anxiety problem is a priority and for that you could use medicaments. They will help you and if you stop being so nervous, you might cut on cigarettes.
