This is so frustrating! This suddenly started happening to me a few months back and like everyone else I can’t find anything about it when I google. It’s a little worrying now with covid and the uncertainty about taking ibuprofen. Adding my voice to this tread to keep it going!

This also happens to me! I always took paracetamol with no problems, but in the last couple of years I have got a sore throat and tickly cough every time I take it. This happens with both tablet and liquid forms. It worries me because I’m unsure of whether it is an allergic reaction? Unsure of why it would start out of nowhere though!

I have the same issue. I think it's a reaction to the powder used in the tablets and not the actual paracetamol itself. I usually get a dry, itchy throat and sometimes I even get a fizzy and runny nose too. I used to be fine with paracetamol, the symptoms randomly appeared one time and now I have them every time I take it.

Gosh , I have been suffering with this aswell , I have tried tablets and capsules, both seem to cause it , it’s like I’m coming up with a cold next day after taking paracetamol. Dry , painful throat and back of my nose . And it seems to be occurring in last 3-4 years now . Never had any problems before .
