I am now happily married to another guy who understands me a lot. However now that am a happy mother to a few weeks old baby, my breasts are sore, I tried to adjust latching, but this does not help. Always find my baby sucking more and getting less each time. Oh btw my husband feels obliged to suck my breasts which I guess leaves little for the baby. How do I explain?? I want both my husband and my baby happy with what I have to offer - but most times it goes against the baby. I want to breastfeed my baby exclusively for at least one year - how do I?

Congratulations on a happy marriage. I already replied to your private message and suggested you go check for a tongue tie. As for your husband - explain your plans to exclusively breastfeed your baby and OR take him to a psychiatrist who can explain your privacy with your baby and needs of the baby in particular. I am sure he will understand the importance. Love and light
