Soreness and cramps after masturbation

I am 39 and in the last year have experienced cramping following masturbation. I have been taking continuous birth control for 8 months - having no spotting or period. Recently, the cramping got so bad following maturbation that I became concerned - normal or not, I had no desire to live with it. I would also have brown discharge.I went to see my OBGYN. I had a pelvic exam (normal), and also an ultrasound (normal). My doctor felt that I was having smooth muscle contractions which are very fierce and painful and will subside in about 15 minutes. She also mentioned that the muscles in the anus will sometimes do this and feel like cramping. However - considering that my uterus is obviously contracting and discharging old blood - I'm pretty sure it's the uterine muscles. Sadly, my doctor seemed pretty mystified by this and never said, "it's normal." So I'm left without any real answers. Our plan was to have a period following this 3-month pack of pills (of which I'm in the first month), and see if my body clears itself out and normalizes. I don't recall any of these issues while I was having periods monthly. I have heavy periods and have been on the pill since I was 15. Never had problems with it. The last 8 months is the first time I have attempted to take continually via Seasonique - which my doc prescribed continually for one year. I'm hoping this is the cause for me. It's slightly reassuring to hear there are others out there who are experiencing the same thing!

From what I can gather.. The problem is not tied to Masturbation at all. See, my mother used to feel no cramp pains linked to Menstrual cycle before marriage but as she got older some things started to change and she got cramps regularly around her period. The opposite situation happened to my dad's sister, where she on the other hand, had to deal with menstrual cramps as soon as she hit puberty but after a few years, after her marriage.. They just went away.. She did not have cramps to deal with ever. Everyone is different and it depends on your genes. I know I mentioned marriage a few times but it is just to have a locating point in time.. Hope this message helps. Masturbation is not affecting anything haha trust me. It's just that before, you never got the cramps and now suddenly they are beginning to appear. Good luck! It is not fun for anyone. But ya, you will get through this. I am sure.

hey Um..mymasturbation, when I start and insert myself it hurts and then my vibe gets ruined when I start bleeding. I do have herpes. but I don't think that should explain the bleeding. maybe im materbating incorrectly or something. but afterwards I develop cramps. I would appreciate the advice because im 18. I have no problem seein a doctor but does anyone else have the same symptoms? im confused cuz I just use two fingers with a condom

This is all normal. I always see brown (dried blood) a few days before my period. Orgasms during the period or a few days leading up to our period are not "as satisfying" as they usually enhance that well-known, lower abdomen/back period cramping. Blood flow usually subsides for a day after an orgasm (which is a helpful trick if you are going to be physically active and want to reduce the flow). And yes, white globular discharge, and any clear/white discharge at different times of our cycle is very normal. It's OKAY. Do what you want! Our bodies are meant to do these things!

The white stuff may be signs that you are ovulating. All women do have a white discharge it is just to lubricate your vagina to prepare for sex and not something to be alarmed about unless it is a different color or anything with lumps in it you may have a yeast infection. I wouldn't be alarmed unless it changes texture or smells.

God bless you Dear, I Am 37.8) You have solved, what has plagued me for a very long time. I asked My physician as a young girl, I was instructed, without test I would probably not have children? Well my little one is in a gifted program, and so much more. At that time I could not find real insight, God bless you, I am elated, almost in tears, because you solved a paradigm, probably for at least 200 , or more, Happy Blesses 2016!!!!!

Im feeing the same pains rn as im typing this. Its in my uterus and near my ovaries...it feels like period cramps but 100000x worse.. I was scared at first if I physically damage the inside of my vagina but im just flipping through comments and anything on the internet about this...

I've come to realize that for me, this problem only happens before my period and it causes me to have bad stomach pain and feel very sick. I believe the problem is the contracting of the muscles before menstruation. I'm glad it's not just me also, it's good to know I'm not alone!

I'm 17 and endometriosis runs in my moms side of the family. So far, my mother, her sister, me and my two sisters have it. I got a birth control shot (sexually active) about 4 months ago, and it lasts for 6 months. I experience a lot of brown discharges and occasional blood even when I'm not due to have my period for about 2.5 more months. This causes a lot of problems in the bedroom, (ends in messes :c ). I used to madturbate 2 times or more a week but I'm finding it really difficult to masturbate at all lately, because after I finish, I bleed a lot, and I have stomach wrenching cramps, worse than most I've had before. Its extremely upsetting and uncomfortable :(
